Role Summary:
This role is an opportunity created within our Products Business to join as a Lead Commercial
Fulfilment Engineer into our Commercial Fulfilment & Engineering team. The candidate will
provide and assume responsibility for proposal activities, and product application support, within
ASEAN region, as well as execution of small projects. This role reports operationally and functionally to the Product Director SEA P&L center.
Role Objective
• Lead and Co-ordinate all Products related ITO (Inquiry to Order) activities
• Successful and productive collaboration with the sales team in the development of
opportunities and hence driving business growth.
• Will continuously work to educate internal & external customers on the design,
commissioning and operation of RO / ED / UF / Ozone systems.
• Establishing a strong internal network to enhance successful collaboration with all
internal functions that are involved in a project all the way from ITO to OTR (order to
Remittance)
Essential Responsibilities entails
• Product Application Support to the Sales team and Sales Channels.
• Support generation of sales drawings, collateral, manuals, and other technical details to
ensure current and relevant information supplied meets the commercial opportunity
requirement.
• Train internal and external customers including channel partners, OEMs, and integrators, on
RO / ED/ UF/Ozone products & standard system design & operation to enable them too, be
self-sufficient in selling to end-users. Support customers by reviewing designs, making
recommendations & answering questions related to specific opportunities. Continuously
strive to be technically competent and current in new developments in relevant fields
• Develop configurable systems based on market requirements working in conjunction with
factory, sourcing, and global product management teams.
• Timely preparation of budgetary and final proposals.
• Apply costing and process design strategies to position the company in the early stages
of project development and to increase the probability & success.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop extended scope proposals that would require
Installation/modification to existing equipment on site. Adhering to all internal procedures
related to bid preparation, proposal tracking, authorization of Order Packages, and sales
forecasting.
• Ensure DOA, and risk matrix stakeholders are involved as needed to ensure a timely
response to the commercial opportunity
• Execute small projects by interfacing with Engineering, Factory, logistics, field service
team and other related functions.
• Use IT platforms like SAP, Salesforce, or any other proprietary software or design tools to
make quotes, manage deals, design systems
• Support development and closure of key deals to maximize revenue generation.
• Support and participate in the continuous development and/or fine-tuning of country
specific business plans and market research.
• Regular Joint Sales Call with in-country Salesperson.
Support the organization in ‘Road-shows’, conferences, etc
• Participate in partner evaluation and onboarding sessions.
Requirements:
• B.S. degree in an engineering/science discipline such as Chemical, Electrical,
Mechanical or Environmental Engineering, or related technical degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a process engineer & or proposal engineer
• Water treatment experience.
• Knowledge of Filtration, Ion Exchange, Membrane Separation Technologies, UF, BWRO,
SWRO, EDI, EDR, Ozone, etc
• Product application and design experience
• Reasonable computer skills, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
• The role will require some travel.
