The Manager – Supplier Quality CoE wiil be reporting into the Director, Supplier Quality.  Manager – Supplier Quality CoE will  be responsible for driving the CoE operations, supporting WTS regional Supplier Quality teams in ES Projects activities. Manager – Supplier Quality CoE will be working closely with the Supplier Quality Leadership in establishing business strategy, identifying, and monitoring operational KPIs, developing and implementing business processes, and leading CoE day to day operations. Other than this, the Manager – Supplier Quality CoE will also drive Quality Management system activities inside the Supplier Quality community, drive governance of Global Third Party Services and handle resource management, workload mapping and performance monitoring of the CoE team.


Specific responsibilities:

  • Lead Supplier Quality CoE operations to support WTS Global supplier quality activities.
  • Carry out Third Party Inspection Management and Quality documentation activities as per Project needs.
  • Drive resource management and workload distribution planning for Supplier Quality CoE team.
  • Manage, monitor and measure CoE operational KPIs.
  • Handle CoE operational escalations and work with Supplier Quality Managers for mitigation.
  • Assess, categorize & prioritize Supplier Quality processes based on complexity & risks to identify opportunities of standardization and improvements, on a continuous basis.
  • Work with Supplier Quality Leadership team for Process development, enhancement, and implementation inside the Supplier Quality community.
  • Drive standardization program for Supplier Quality operational documents (ITP, Audit Checklists, Inspection Checklists) through coordination and collaboration with regional Supplier Quality teams.
  • Drive Global governance and performance management of Third party service provider partners by collaborating with Supplier Quality Managers, WTS procurement group, TPS global administrators.
  • Act as primary WTS point of contact for Third party service provider partners and lead periodic business review meetings.
  • Drive Quality Management System development and implementation process inside Supplier Quality community and support Leadership team to bring about QMS compliance across Supplier Quality function.
  • Lead, Collaborate & partner with Peers, Team and cross functional partners and functions to create a best-in-class Supplier Quality CoE function.


Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in, Engineering.
  • 10-15 years’ experience in Supplier Quality/Supply Chain function/ Process excellence/ Quality Management or equivalent role, with knowledge of Supplier quality operations, Process excellence, Digital tools and continuous improvement initiative.
  • Ability to articulate and draw up End to End Business Processes.
  • Subject Matter expert in Supplier Quality Processes like Quality document review, ITP preparation, Quality Management System, Third Party Inspection Management.
  • Working knowledge on MS Share-point, MS Excel, SAP MM, MS Visio.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Team Manager.

  • Program Management / Office Tools: Very strong organizational, project planning, scheduling and risk management skills and demonstrated experience using project management tools and software Proficient in the use of all MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Visio etc.)
  • Executive Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate key messages to senior leadership audiences and effectively manage key stakeholders
  • Positive Attitude: Be able to cast a positive attitude and evoke positive responses from others inclusive of those with conflicting priorities
